Weight: 12 lbs, 6 oz (75th%)
Height: 23 in (75th%)
At 2 mo doc appt:
Clothes: Mostly out of newborn (few sleepers or open footies she can wear) and well into 0-3 months and many 3 months. Sad to put up all the newborn things! Diapers are 1s but getting tight!
Likes: Still Mommy and nursing! I think this is her favorite thing! Starting to take Wubs better for naps but still not her favorite. Also tried the swing again, and she does sleep in it occasionally. Won't stay in it for longer than a few minutes though if she's awake! Now likes warm baths. Also likes to sleep in the rock n play sleeper and doing better with this
One of the few times when I swaddled her and she actually stayed asleep. She hated it!
Dislikes: Carseat, being put down (still)...the Moby wrap was just too much fabric for the warm weather that's starting, so I end up just holding her all the time
Daily routine: Still not much of one at this point! Gets up around 8 or so and still naps a few times per day. Thought about trying more of a schedule, but it's so hard to do with both girls at home.
Food: Still nursing fabulously I'm happy to say. She nurses 7 times a day from both sides each time, but has started recently to only nurse from one side at a time. She gets up 1-2x per night, usually last feed around 10 and then gets up at 2 and 5 or 6.
Sleep: Goes to bed after nursing around 10-10:30 and sleeps until about 8-8:30 just getting up twice at 1-2 and 5-6. Not too bad I'd say! Mainly able to put her down in the sleeper so I can rest better, but some nights she's still in the bed with me.
This is still how we sleep at night much of the time. Some of them are dark, but I took them to remember what she looked like lying beside me because I think it's just so sweet. I'll hate it when she stops doing this!
Notable events/places: Went to Easter egg hunt at Asbury. These pics are mainly of Maggie, but I never seem to be able to update on her anymore, so I might as well put them here too! She didn't care too much for the eggs, but she LOVED the bouncy house that was set up outside!
This was also Maggie's first time to dye Easter eggs:
Charlotte does have an Easter basket. I made sure to order it months in advance. It was adorable...but empty. I was too busy to go get what I was going to fill it with. Meant to take a pic later but it just sat on the table, so eventually I gave up. Next year she'll have a full basket! :)
Developmental milestones: Already was smiling purposefully (for the past month)! She has started to coo and make some noises. Holding head up better but still somewhat a bobblehead. Can lift head off ground when lying on stomach but not chest quite yet (she seems to like her stomach lately, and I've been putting her down for some naps that way). Opens hands a little but still in fists much of the time.
Other pics from the month:
This is a Cabbage Patch doll stroller. Charlotte just barely fit in it, so I was playing around and put her in there for a minute. Maggie just HAD to push her around!
Maggie has been doing a little better lately with Charlotte. She wants to sit by her sometimes but still doesn't want to touch or get too close.
Waiting on her hip US at Children's South. It was normal, thank goodness!
Love our sweet Charlotte! Watching you get big is so much fun!
